Welcome to Our FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your journey with us, whether you’re joining us on a solidarity trip to Israel or heading out on one of our amazing safari adventures.

General Questions

What should I pack for my trip?

We recommend packing comfortable clothing suitable for the climate of your destination, as well as any special items like a hat, sunscreen, and modest attire if visiting religious sites. For safaris, lightweight layers are ideal.

How do you accommodate kosher dietary needs?

All our trips can be arranged with full kosher catering. In Israel, we have a variety of kosher restaurants and certified facilities. On safaris, we coordinate with local providers to ensure kosher meals are available, or we bring one of our amazing consultant chefs exclusively for your dining.

Israel-Specific Questions

Is there anything special I need to know about observing Shabbat during the trip?

Absolutely! We design our itineraries so that from Friday afternoon through Saturday evening, you’ll be in a location where you can fully observe Shabbat. We can arrange for local Shabbat meals and a welcoming community where possible.

Safari-Specific Questions

Do I need malaria tablets for the safari destinations?

Some of our safari locations do recommend malaria prophylaxis, while others do not. We’ll provide you with specific health guidance based on your itinerary, so you know exactly what to prepare.

What kind of wildlife can I expect to see on safari?

Depending on the region, you might encounter the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo—as well as giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Each safari destination has its own unique wildlife highlights!

Practical Info Questions

How do we handle internal flights and transportation?

We arrange all internal flights and ground transport for you, ensuring a seamless experience. You’ll receive a detailed itinerary with all transfer details.

What should I do if I have an emergency during the trip?

We provide 24/7 support during your journey. You’ll have contact numbers for our local partners and our main office, so you’re never alone if you need assistance.

Is travel insurance required?

Absolutely. Medical travel insurance is mandatory for all our travelers — it’s part of how we make sure every journey is safe and stress-free. Because some of our adventures take you far off the beaten path and deep into wild, remote landscapes, we also highly recommend adding an emergency rescue and evacuation policy. This gives you full protection and professional evacuation support in the rare event of an emergency, no matter how far the road (or river) takes you.

Your safety and peace of mind are part of the journey.
